I often encounter this question ! My answer it truly depends on the person a check in on the scale can bring on some real anxiety! If you're working with a health coach or personal trainer you may want a starting point , however how often you decide to weigh in really depends on you! Research shows that those who weigh in daily have more success than those who choose not to. When you weigh in each day it can help indicate progress. Be sure you use the same scale at the same time each day. It may be best to weigh once week or to compare a once a week check in to determine change. Progress with fat loss takes at least one week. I highly suggest you also test for body composition to see how much muscle and fat you have. At Changes we can take your body fat at no cost. Reach out if you want to know your starting point or need help losing those stubborn pounds!
